Student ID–Paso

Since 24/09/2012 undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral students of all Universities can apply electronically for a student ID.

The new ID has strong characteristics that prevent falsification of IDs. Moreover, they are designed to last as long as someone is a student, and has multiple uses besides student tickets (Paso). During application, the students can choose from a variety of places to collect their ID, with no charges.

The exact period that someone has the right to have student tickets is inserted in the ID card. In case the student no longer has a right for student tickets, the card can be used as a simple ID.

Also, in co-operation with the Ministry of Health, another service is provided.  Each student can declare any allergies he/she may have, as well as if he/she wishes to become an organ donor. Entering this information in their ID card is optional. After printing the ID card all information regarding allergies or organ donation is deleted from the Central Information System.
